  I'm currently a graduate student studying geosciences at the University of Michigan, where I work on aqueous geochemistry and carbonate mineralogy. This summer, I'm an intern at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington under the auspices of their Christine Mirzayan fellowship program. I'm working on sustainable development and biodiversity in developing nations like Brazil. In the fall, I'll return to the University of Michigan to complete the Ph.D. program.
