Meet me in St. Louis!

Make plans now to attend the 43rd NYSCAA Reunion August 10-13, 2006, in St. Louis, Missouri!

We will be staying at The Parkway Hotel. Phone (314) 256-7777 and mention NYSCAA to get special rates. We have reserved two sets of rooms: "standard" rooms for $109 a night and "executive" rooms on their club floor for $119 a night (which includes breakfast). Rooms have 2 queen beds and can easily sleep up to 4 people per room.

The hotel is conveniently located near Forest Park (home to museums and the zoo) and other scientific hot-spots, including several medical centers.

Register today to attend Reunion 2005! Registration fees will be:

  • Alumni: $95
  • Alumni in College or Grad School full-time: $70
  • Guests age 12 and up: $50
  • Children under age 12: $25
  • Infants and young children (no meals): FREE
  • Single Day (does not include dinner): $20
  • Feast only on Saturday: $30

Registration includes use of hang-out suite, conference rooms, and meeting rooms; breakfast, sandwich lunch, and snack foods; admissions to most activities; and Saturday dinner.

Outline of events for the weekend:

Thursday
Arrive midday and visit with other alumni at our hospitality suite in the hotel. Informal dinner / evening event, hopefully a show at The Muny.

Friday
Tour St. Louis, including the St. Louis Science Center and the St. Louis Zoo. Casual group dinner, possibly at the zoo.

Saturday
NYSCAA annual meeting in the morning, and seminars in the afternoon (given by alumni and/or local notables). Be sure and plan to attend our banquet in the evening.

Sunday
Optional morning activity TBD – Missouri Botanical Garden? The Arch? Plan to depart in the afternoon, if possible.
