As such, smokers may partake outside the building at identified locations, however smoking rooms they don’t have. Some of the other hotels do have accommodations which allow smoking indoors. The Shilo is offering us a room rate of $89/night for the first 2 guests with an additional $15 charge for up to 3 additional guests. Included in this rate is a nice breakfast in the morning; popcorn and hot beverages 24 hours a day. (Children under 12 traveling with their parents are free) The rooms are very large and have a King or Double Queen Beds as well as a couch. 5 people can easily sleep in one room. There is an additional $15 charge should one want a roll-away in addition to the two queen beds and couch. All rooms in Oregon are subject to a 12.5% accommodation tax. Oregon law limits hotel room occupancy to no more than 5 persons. Here is a Google Map showing the location of the Shilo Inn Suites – Portland Airport. The airport terminal is just nothwest of the hotel. LinkYou will note that it is close to the airport and to the MAX (light rail for Portland). The rooms are large, with one King or two Queen-size beds as well as a sofa. Note: Shilo is all non-smoking. Our rate is a “group rate” not an individual room rate, hence don’t be surprised if you go to the web page and find a number much higher than this number.) Likely the lower cost ones will have a less fabulous breakfast and a few other differences in amenities, but if cost is your only driver, feel free to shop around.
