Schedule and Activities

Here is the tentative schedule of events:

Thursday August 5, 2010

Noon - Guests staying in the Lesley University start arriving. Check the Campus Map page and click on Quad Campus for a detailed street map. Our dorm is in the the Victorian building across from the Public Safety Office at:
35 Mellen Street

Afternoon excursions will include trips to the Harvard Museum of Art and the Harvard Museum of Natural History. A tour of the Union of Concerned Scientists (in Harvard Square) with alumnus Dr Laura Grego is also tentatively planned for the late afternoon. In between you can wander around Harvard Square or sit on the porch at the dorm and reminisce with old friends.
6:15 pm - Meet at Lesley University, 35 Mellen Street, to walk to dinner at Christopher's. If you are meeting us at Christopher’s, the reservation is under the name Julie Wentworth.

Breakfast will be available in the dorm.
Please arrive at 35 Mellen Street before 9 am daily; we will set out in groups for our excursions from there starting at 9 am.
Activities will include exploring MIT, a walking tour of the Freedom Trail/North End, and kayaking on the Charles (weather-permitting).
4:30 pm - Charles River Boat Cruise

9 am to 10 am — NYSCAA Board Meeting at Lesley University in the lounge at 35 Mellen Street.
10 am to 11 am - Alumni seminars

We will tour Fenway Park, then head to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum or the Museum of Fine Arts.
More time to explore Harvard Square, take a walk along the Charles River, visit a museum, or simply hang out before you depart Boston.
